Russia Strikes Kyiv and Kyiv Region With Missiles and Drones, Killing Eight

Kyiv came under a massive attack overnight. According to preliminary data, more than 10 people were killed and another 24 were wounded.

The most severe consequences were recorded in the Podilskyi district. A nine-story residential building was hit there. People may still be trapped under the rubble.

In the same district, a 21-story building was damaged, with partial destruction between the third and fourth floors. Fires also broke out at four residential sites at once.

In the Darnytskyi district, a 25-story residential building was damaged at the fourth-floor level as a result of the shelling. People were trapped on the upper floors. Rescue workers evacuated 22 people.

In another 30-story building, the 23rd and 24th floors caught fire. The evacuation of residents is continuing.

There are also reports of strikes on the Varshavskyi and Slavutych residential complexes, as well as near residential buildings in Pozniaky. Several apartments and cars burned out completely there.

In the Obolonskyi district, a warehouse and another building caught fire. A strike was also recorded on the territory of a nonresidential area.

According to public channels, Zircon hypersonic missiles, ballistic missiles, Kh-101 cruise missiles, and Kalibr missiles were launched at Kyiv.
