Ukrainian drones struck one of Crimea’s key energy-supply facilities on July 8, said Robert Brovdi, commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Unmanned Systems Forces, call sign “Madyar.”
According to him, the target of the attack was the PP-2 “Crimea” electricity receiving station—part of the Kuban-Crimea energy bridge. Through it, the peninsula receives electricity from Russia via underwater cable lines.
Brovdi claims the facility was hit by Ukrainian drones.
He did not specify other details of the operation, including the nature of the damage or the consequences for the region’s power supply.
