On the morning of July 3, Ukraine carried out a missile strike on Belgorod and the Belgorod district, the regional operational headquarters said.
A local resident was killed in the strike in Belgorod. According to the city’s mayor, Valentin Demidov, the woman was in a car and suffered shrapnel wounds. She died before an ambulance arrived.
The regional operational headquarters reported a fire at an infrastructure facility. It also said that energy infrastructure sites had sustained “serious damage.”
Several municipalities experienced disruptions to electricity and water supplies after the strike.
The Telegram channel Pepel claims that the Yuzhnaya electrical substation on Gubkin Street and the substation on the grounds of the GT TPP Energo facility on Michurin Street were hit.
