A shooting took place at a middle school in the city of Kahramanmaras in southeastern Turkey, CNN Turk reported.
According to preliminary information, the attacker first opened fire in the courtyard, then entered the school building and continued shooting. The attack left people wounded.
NTV reported at least four people killed and 20 injured. The dead included one teacher and three students, Kahramanmaras Governor Mukerrem Unluer said. According to him, the attacker was an eighth-grade student.

On April 14, a similar incident took place in the Siverek district of Sanliurfa province—inside the Ahmet Koyuncu Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School.
The attacker entered the school with a hunting rifle and opened indiscriminate fire. Sanliurfa Governor Hasan Sildak said 16 people had been injured.
