British right-wing activist Tommy Robinson was detained in the UK immediately after returning from Russia, the Financial Times reports.
According to the newspaper, the detention is linked to his support for protests in Northern Ireland that began after a street assault in which a migrant from Sudan is suspected.
The FT writes that Robinson was detained under counterterrorism legislation. Before that, he had been in Moscow, where he met with Errol Musk, Elon Musk’s father.
Tommy Robinson, whose real name is Stephen Christopher Yaxley-Lennon, is a well-known British blogger, political activist and one of the most prominent figures in the right-wing anti-immigration movement in the UK.
