A major fire broke out at an industrial site in Lipetsk. According to official reports, flames engulfed an open area on Peredelcheskaya Street. The blaze covers roughly 2,500 square meters.
Russian opposition social-media channels report that explosions were heard in the city overnight. A missile alert had been in effect across the Lipetsk region since the evening.

According to the reports, the fire broke out between the Lipetsk CHP-2 power plant and the Novolipetsk Steel plant. It is not yet clear which facility caught fire.
