The SBU reported the detention of four more participants in the mass protest involving TCC employees in Lviv. Among them are two servicemen.
According to the agency, with the participation of the National Police, two local residents aged 21 and 45 were detained, as were two 28-year-old servicemen. One of the servicemen, the SBU says, is absent without leave.
The agency said the detainees were the “most active participants” in the conflict: they blocked the movement of a military service vehicle, jumped on it, and damaged the car.
They are now being prepared notices of suspicion under articles on obstructing the lawful activities of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and other military formations during a special period, as well as on absence without leave.
The SBU says investigative actions and operational measures are continuing. Law-enforcement officers are identifying other participants in the conflict.
Earlier, a court in Lviv arrested 23-year-old serviceman Oleh Havrylov, who was absent without leave and is suspected of attacking police officers during a scuffle with TCC employees.
Before that, the Defense Ministry, commenting on the conflict in Lviv, said that everyone is equal before the law and that violence must entail responsibility. One of the servicemen, after an “educational conversation,” separately apologized for taking part in the conflict with the TCC.
