Oil Spill in Tuapse Reaches Beaches After Refinery Attack, Spreads Along Coast
Oil from a spill in Tuapse following attacks on a port and refinery is washing onto beaches and spreading along the coast. Cleanup efforts have been ongoing for days, with about 1,000 cubic meters collected in 24 hours. Satellite images show slicks up to 3.8 sq km extending from the Tuapse River area into the sea.
