«Every season is good in its way. And the nature is beautiful anytime and anywhere too. It is once again proved by Mykolaj Gospodarek — the photographer and traveler, whose heart is given to the mountains forever.
Often being asked "Who would you like to be in the future?" the children of the past would answer something like astronauts, firemen, doctors. Children of the present reply with producers, IT specialists, PR experts. But there is such a profession as a traveler. Many people forget about it, or do not allow themselves to remember. But just think of it: a backpack containing everything you need, another one with cameras and lenses, a little romance and thirst for adventure — doesn’t it look like a great professional set. And considering that your office turns into majestic mountains and endless plains and instead of energy-saving lamps the dawn or the setting sun shines your way, and the radio or any other noise generated by office workers is replaced by the roar of waterfalls and rain, birds singing and the chirping of cicadas and crickets… It turns out to be quite a dream job... Mom, why am I not a traveler?..

A traveler like Mikolaj Gospodarek. Each expedition is a great incredible adventure that the professional photographer shows us using his photos. Although the word "professional" even does not sound to be appropriate here, in the music of the mountains. Artfully, masterful, truly wonderful.
"The first time I saw the Polish Tatra at the age of three, — Mykolaj shares his childhood memories, — and ever since I love them and never miss an opportunity to take a walk on its trails and take pictures." Love and admiration for nature, born in early childhood, have grown into something more than just a hobby. Photo expeditions have become Mykolaj’s job. His works, as he himself, are now known in professional circles of Poland and throughout the whole Europe.
The cradle of his art Mykolaj himself calls the Italian mountains — the Dolomites, where he is ready to come back again and again. The majestic and wild, they penetrate clouds and skies, towering over the world. Covered with snow and ice, or in green trees and grass, basking in the sun — they look equally amazing and exciting at Mykolaj’s pictures. And the fogs covering them with their caring blankets only add the mystery and beauty to the whole view.

Also a special place in the traveler’s soul is given to Lofoten in Norway. Not having enough time to enjoy the views of the mountains and lakes in the afternoon to Mykolaj’s eyes there opens probably one of the most stunning natural phenomena the Northern Lights Auroras. It’s hard to disagree that not every photographer gets to see and capture this wonder of our world.
Depth, sharpness, saturation of the photos, the perspective, the play with horizon lines, well thought angles, front and distant plans nothing but complement each other. Thanks to this, looking at the pictures it seems that you are the one standing (sitting/lying) with camera in your hands and you can see and feel the height of the mountains, the vastness of the sky and the cold glaciers. Incredible photos are also made in the Swiss Alps and, of course, in his native Polish Tatra and the Bieszczady.
