An artist from the United Kingdom, known by the username
RadoJavor on DeviantArt, creates digital canvases infused with the realism of Ukrainian struggle. In his works, the harsh reality of the war, which Ukraine has to endure for its survival, comes to life. They are akin to the war itself—grey, cold, and joyless.
At the very first glance at RadoJavor's paintings, an emotional impression of the heavy trials facing Ukraine is evoked. Without unnecessary words, they inspire immense respect for those who defend their land and become a reflection of the strength demonstrated by Ukraine in the defense of its independence.
The artist has been expressing support for Ukraine in his works since 2014. It's worth noting that the author does not invent plots but draws inspiration from the heroism of the Ukrainian army and its real stories.
«Real scene from last summer in East Ukraine. Ukraine army trying to stop the Russian offensive at all cost. One young tank commander deliberately crashed his vehicle to the Russian t-72 in order to save the retreating soldiers. The both tanks were destroyed, and this young man lost his life there, later he was awarded by order people's Hero of Ukraine.»

«This one was very tough for me to make, the war is still going on and there so much sadness, but also many heroic deeds. One such story I've seen, In the second day of the invasion, guy with nickname The General lit couple of russian machines in very casual and relaxed way. Glory to Ukraine!»

«My latest work done in a bit of hurry. The destruction of cruiser Moscow, a truly historic moment. I've tried to paint is based on all the info I can get today. Black sea around 2am and about 100km from Odesa, just hit by two Ukrainian missiles, the ship have couple of hours left. It may be not accurate, but I see it like that in my head. Ukraini Slava!»
