The U.S. Is Sending Another Aircraft Carrier, the George Bush, to the Middle East

The United States is deploying another aircraft carrier to the Middle East, The Wall Street Journal reports, citing U.S. officials.

According to the newspaper, the USS George Bush is being sent to the region.

It is expected to join the USS Abraham Lincoln, which is already there, and will likely replace the USS Gerald Ford, which was moved to the Mediterranean after a fire. It is currently in the Croatian port of Split.
