In the first two weeks of 2026, Ukraine’s interception rate for Russian missiles fell from an average of 60%—a level maintained since October 2022—to 36%.
From January 1 to January 14, only 26 of 73 missiles were intercepted. At the same time, 83% of drones were shot down.
