U.S. President Donald Trump has officially announced the killing of Iran’s supreme leader, Ali Khamenei.
“Khamenei, one of the most evil people in history, is dead,” Trump wrote.
According to him, the Iranian leader “was unable to evade our intelligence and high-tech surveillance systems,” and U.S. actions were carried out “in close cooperation with Israel.” “He or the other leaders killed alongside him could do absolutely nothing,” the president added.
Trump also addressed Iran’s leadership with a call to “unite with the people,” warning that failure to do so would mean death.
“Powerful and precise bombing will continue, without pause, throughout the week or for as long as it takes to achieve our goal—peace across the Middle East and the world,” he said.
