According to a YouGov poll, the Scottish National Party could secure a parliamentary majority in the upcoming election to Scotland’s regional parliament.
The SNP has consistently pursued a course toward Scottish independence and its subsequent accession to the European Union as a sovereign state.
The survey suggests the party could win 67 of 129 seats. Its nearest rivals trail far behind: Reform UK is projected to secure just 20 seats, while the Labour Party is expected to take 15.
Elections to the Scottish Parliament are scheduled for May 7, 2026.
