Over the past week, the Russian military has launched a series of large-scale strikes on Kyiv, Dnipro, Odesa, Kherson, and other Ukrainian cities. Since the beginning of June, 2,736 drones of various types—including decoy drones—have been launched across the country. In addition, missile strikes and guided aerial bombings continue on a regular basis.

Kramatorsk

On the evening of June 21, a four-story residential building was destroyed by the explosion of a Russian aerial bomb. Rescuers worked through the rubble for two days. According to Ukraine’s State Emergency Service, five people were killed and four others injured. June 22, 2025.
Kyiv

People take shelter in the metro during a Russian drone and missile strike. Since the start of the full-scale invasion, Kyiv’s subway has been used as a bomb shelter during attacks. June 23, 2025.

Dnipro

A passenger train traveling from Odesa to Zaporizhzhia with more than 500 people on board came under Russian fire. June 24, 2025.

During the day, Russian forces launched a missile strike on Dnipro and the city of Samar. According to the latest reports, 21 people were killed in Dnipro and two in Samar. More than 350 people were injured. June 24, 2025.

The missile strike on Dnipro and the Dnipropetrovsk region damaged dozens of apartment blocks and private homes, administrative buildings, schools, kindergartens, medical facilities, shops, gas stations, and over a hundred vehicles. June 24, 2025.
Odesa

In the evening, Russian forces attacked Odesa with drones. The strike caused fires in apartments across several floors of a 21-story residential building. A married couple—Kateryna Borsynska, a teacher at Mykhailivskyi Lyceum, and her husband Valentyn—were killed. Seventeen people were injured. June 27, 2025.
Kherson

Kherson comes under daily shelling—the city remains within range of Russian artillery. On this day, a strike on residential areas in the Korabelnyi district left six people injured. June 24, 2025.
