On the night of February 9, Russian forces launched an attack with strike drones on Odesa and the Odesa region. In the city itself, a drone hit a residential area—one person was killed and two others were injured.
The attack damaged a gas pipeline, shattered facades and windows of several buildings, and set passenger cars on fire. Ukraine’s State Emergency Service reported the extent of the destruction, publishing photographs from the strike sites.
In the Kharkiv region, the town of Bohodukhiv was hit. On the night of February 9, Russian drones destroyed a private-sector residential house—under the rubble, Ukraine’s State Emergency Service reported, the bodies of a woman and a 10-year-old child were found. Three more people were injured.
Drones also attacked the Dnipropetrovsk region. According to Ukraine’s State Emergency Service, nine people were injured there, including a 13-year-old girl. Several apartment buildings and private houses were damaged.
