Russian forces launched a missile strike on Dnipro during the night of May 18. Apartment buildings, private homes, a religious institution, a university, and an industrial facility were damaged in the city, according to Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration head Oleksandr Hanzha.
According to him, 18 people were injured, including a two-year-old girl and a 10-year-old boy. Eight people were hospitalized. Doctors described their condition as moderate.
At the same time, Russian drones attacked Odesa. City administration head Serhii Lysak said residential buildings, as well as a lyceum and a kindergarten, were damaged.

The Ukrainian Air Force said Russian forces launched 24 missiles and 524 drones of various types against Ukraine overnight on May 18, including decoy drones.
Ukrainian air defenses reportedly shot down four missiles and 503 drones.
According to the Ukrainian military, the main strike targeted Dnipro and the Dnipropetrovsk region.
