On the night of July 31, Russia launched a massive strike on Ukraine, firing more than 300 drones and 8 missiles. While Kyiv was the main target, the Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, Sumy, Mykolaiv, and Kyiv regions also came under attack.
According to the latest reports, seven people were killed, including a six-year-old child.

In Kyiv, multiple districts were hit. In the Sviatoshynskyi district, a missile destroyed the entrance of a residential building. Preliminary reports say people remain trapped under the rubble of the lower floors—rescue workers are searching for and evacuating survivors.

In the Solomianskyi district, apartments were damaged, cars caught fire, and non-residential buildings were destroyed. In the Holosiivskyi district, a school and kindergarten sustained damage. In the Shevchenkivskyi district, the blast wave shattered windows in the pediatric ward of a medical facility.

In total, more than 80 people were injured, 21 of whom have been hospitalized.
Pavlohrad was struck for the second night in a row. According to the regional administration, the target was once again transport infrastructure. Earlier reports indicated damage to railway facilities.
