In Monaco, a foreign national has been detained as part of the investigation into the attempted killing of Ukrainian businessman Vadym Yermolaiev, media report, citing law-enforcement sources.

The foreigner detained in the case of the attempted killing of Vadym Yermolaiev has been released, Monaco Info reports. No charges against him have been officially announced.
Prosecutors explained that the foreign national had been held in custody because a number of checks needed to be carried out. After the initial investigative actions were completed, he was released.
The investigation also questioned the minor who was injured in the explosion.
The two other victims suffered serious injuries and cannot yet give testimony. The condition of one of them remains critical, and doctors are continuing to fight for his life.
Earlier, it was reported that investigators were considering possible SBU involvement in the attempt on Yermolaiev’s life as one of the priority theories.
