Reports from Donetsk region say that Oleg Lysenko, a mobilized resident of Kramatorsk whom officers of the territorial recruitment center allegedly were taking to a training center in Dnipropetrovsk region, has died.
According to those reports, Lysenko was forcibly mobilized several days ago by officers of the Kramatorsk recruitment center. His body was later found on a highway with a “smashed head.” After spending a day in a coma, he died.
The Donetsk territorial recruitment and social support center offered an explanation for the mobilized man’s death that has long become a standard formula for recruitment offices: its officers were escorting him to a training center, and he escaped from the vehicle on the way. The statement did not explain how the man who allegedly fled ended up with a smashed head.
