In France, jewelry worth around €4 million was stolen from the Lalique Museum, Le Parisien reports. The theft took place at the jewelry museum in the commune of Wingen-sur-Moder in eastern France.
“About 20 pieces of jewelry were stolen. The amount of damage is currently being assessed, but it could reach several million euros, probably around €4 million,” a source close to the investigation told the newspaper.
According to Le Parisien, after the Louvre robbery in October 2025, the Lalique Museum was added to the list of vulnerable sites. It had been placed “under special watch.”
