The mobilized single father from Kryvyi Rih has already been released from the temporary detention center, lawmaker Oleksii Honcharenko said. According to him, the man is already at home with his daughter.
Earlier, the Dnipropetrovsk territorial recruitment center said the man had already been sent to a military unit.
The child’s mother gave up raising her and left the country. Despite this, the father was not granted a deferment and was mobilized while the five-year-old girl was at kindergarten. After that, the child spent the night at the kindergarten director’s home.

Mykola Korolenko, head of the Pokrovsko-Ternivskyi district recruitment center in Kryvyi Rih, told Rada lawmakers that the father of the five-year-old girl had been mobilized lawfully and that his deferment was invalid. According to him, the Saksahanskyi District Court’s decision on divorce and the child’s residence with her father does not by itself prove that the man was supporting his daughter on his own.
Korolenko also claims that a document check revealed signs that the court decision had been falsified—the document provided by the man liable for military service differed from the one posted on the court’s website.
There is no independent confirmation of the statements by the head of the Pokrovsko-Ternivskyi district recruitment center.
