A series of shooting incidents took place in Israel on the afternoon of June 7, which the authorities described as a terrorist attack. According to the latest figures from Israel’s ambulance service, one person was killed and five others were wounded.
The shootings occurred at a gas station in the Kochav Yair area, as well as in the communities of Tzur Yitzhak and Tzur Natan. Two of the wounded are in serious condition, while three others are in moderate condition.
Reuters writes that the attacks took place at three different locations in Israel’s central district, near the Palestinian city of Qalqilya in the West Bank.
According to the Israel Defense Forces, two people were involved in the attack in Kochav Yair. The IDF said the suspects were killed by security forces. One of the attackers was shot dead near Tzur Yitzhak, while the second was wounded and tried to flee.
