Germany’s federal prosecutor’s office has brought the first charges against a Ukrainian suspected of involvement in the sabotage of the Nord Stream pipelines, Reuters reports, citing ARD.
German prosecutors believe the suspect in the attack on energy infrastructure committed a war crime.
Earlier, Spiegel wrote that Ukrainian “sabotage specialists” had coordinated a plan to blow up the Nord Stream pipelines with the CIA at a meeting in Kyiv.
Later, Bild reported that a former erotic model from Kyiv may have been involved in the pipeline explosions.
