Europe Increased Imports of Russian Gas via TurkStream by 10.3% in January

In January, Europe increased imports of Russian gas via the TurkStream pipeline by 10.3% year on year—to 1.73 billion cubic metres from 1.57 billion cubic metres a year earlier, according to Reuters data.

Average daily supply volumes, meanwhile, remained broadly in line with December 2025 levels.

After transit through Ukrainian territory was halted, Turkey remains the only route through which Russian gas continues to reach Europe.
