Operations at Dubai International Airport (DXB), the world’s busiest by passenger traffic, were suspended following Iranian strikes on UAE territory. Until further notice, arrivals and departures were also halted at Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC)—Dubai Airports said in a statement posted on X.
Passengers were advised not to travel to the airports and to contact airlines directly to check the status of their flights. Against this backdrop, the UAE, Qatar, and Kuwait closed their airspace. Flights both to and from these countries, including services operated by Russian carriers, were cancelled or rerouted.
