In Dnipropetrovsk region, the Prosyanskyi grain elevator has been destroyed by multiple guided-bomb strikes, local media report.
According to them, it is one of the largest grain elevators in Ukraine and an important logistics hub.
The elevator is located in the settlement of Prosyana in Synelnykove district, 150 kilometers from Dnipro. According to open data, after modernization the grain-storage facility had a capacity of about 195,000 tons of simultaneous storage, placing it among the country’s 10 largest line elevators. Significant volumes of grain from the region’s fields passed through the elevator, including wheat and corn intended for further export.
Strikes on grain infrastructure have been recorded throughout the war—earlier, similar attacks destroyed elevators in Kherson, Mykolaiv, Donetsk, Luhansk and Zaporizhzhia regions.
