In Crimea, fuel sales at gas stations have been completely halted—both for open sale and by coupons. This was announced by Sergei Aksyonov, the Russian-appointed head of the peninsula.
Gasoline sales were stopped at 9:00 a.m. on June 21. According to Aksyonov, fuel will be supplied only to state services responsible for Crimea’s essential operations and security.
