Bill Gates, testifying before Congress in the Epstein case, revealed new details about his relationship with Russian woman Karima Nigmatulina while he was married to Melinda Gates.
The Microsoft founder said he had dated Nigmatulina—the daughter of academic Robert Nigmatulin, scientific director of the Shirshov Institute of Oceanology of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Robert Nigmatulin is known, among other things, for his sharp public criticism of the Russian authorities’ economic policy.
The Nigmatulin family lived in the United States for many years. Karima Nigmatulina studied at Princeton University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and also holds U.S. citizenship.
She met Gates while working at TerraPower on a project involving mathematical modeling of the spread of dangerous diseases. The project was funded and overseen by Gates.
In addition, Nigmatulina worked at Los Alamos National Laboratory, one of the key centers of nuclear research in the United States.
